KATHARINE LE HARDY
 
Katharine graduated with a BA (Hons) in Fine Art from the University of the West of England, Bristol, in 2003.  The Cornish coast is the inspiration for Katharine’s landscapes, although the final images are only loosely based on definite locations. Working from sketches and photographs, Katharine creates a window on an imaginary coastal space. The absence of obvious landmarks and identifiable features enables the images to exist as timeless, dreamlike expanses where sea meets land, inviting the viewer into a restorative space and opportunity for reflection in calm solitude.

HANNAH BONE

In 2006, Hannah graduated with a first class honours degree in Textiles from Manchester Metropolitan University.  As a painter, her work has its foundation in this earlier textile practice; she has developed a fascination with surface quality and a passion for colour. Observing the environment around her, both natural and urban, Hannah produces collections and one-off pieces using a range of mixed media, her work evolving through the layering of surfaces, line, form and colour in an individual, lively and spontaneous style.

OLIVIA FERRIER

Olivia graduated from Bath Spa University in 2002 with a BA Hons in 3D ceramics. The human form and parts of the human form play a central part in Olivia’s sculpting. She has a particular fascination with its means of expression; she loves to observe the face and body when subjected to various physical and emotional states, as well as contemplative moments captured in time. Her sculptures are made either from clay or wax and then cast in bronze.
